Simmons Building and Livery
Stable
Chaska, Minnesota The Simmons Building in downtown Chaska,
Minnesota, once served as a boarding house and saloon throughout
the late 19th century and much of the 2oth century. In 1979, the
building was renovated into offices. A few years later, the livery
stable in the rear was renovated into ground floor retail and second
floor offices. Both projects received financial assistance with
historic tax credits.
