Band Box
Minneapolis

The Band Box was originally built in the late 1930s, one of several prefabricated streamline moderne-influenced diners as part of a small restaurant chain. This diner, located in Eliot Park near downtown Minneapolis, is the only one remaining. The Band Box has been given local historic designation. In 2003, the building was remodeled with an addition built to conform to the original structure's architecture.

In collaboration with Karen Gjerstad, Architect.
